DESCRIPTION:Kelly Eby\, the Urban Forester for the City of San Marcos\, has called San Marcos home for the past 17 years. With nearly two decades as a certified arborist\, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for trees and community forestry. Under her leadership\, the City’s Friends of Trees program was honored with the 2024 Outstanding Community Forestry Program Award from the Texas Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture. \nThe KT Nature Series explores various aspects of the nature we see around us at Kissing Tree and the greater San Marcos community. The seminars are scheduled on the third Thursday of the month\, except for November and December.
